GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Performance Outcomes Specialist is the liaison between the Performance Outcomes team and the rest of the DCAC staff. They are responsible for training, troubleshooting, and communicating the needs of the Performance Outcomes teams with the rest of the staff. This individual is responsible for ensuring projects are completed in a timely fashion, remain in-scope and receive positive feedback from the Dallas CAC staff receiving support from the Performance Outcomes and Program Support Team. This individual also serves as the liaison to outside entities connected to the Performance Outcomes team as well as assisting in the grant reporting process. Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities: Training: Supports database system training needs, including development and delivery of training to users, development, and maintenance of resources. Sets up and orients new staff users to database software, through training, and provision of resources, including a user manual. Assesses training needs for existing users, and updates training and resources, including database software manual materials, accordingly. Supports efforts to build buy-in among DCAC staff for data reporting. Quality Assurance: Assists with all quality assurance activities to ensure data integrity, including quarterly audits of data most reported across the organization. Ensures client data is entered and maintained in various databases efficiently, timely and accurately. Assists in the development of quality control plans and scripts to identify issues with data entry, calculations/analysis, and reporting; makes recommended modifications when needed. Periodically runs and reviews reports to uncover data errors and coordination correction in conjunction with the Data Analyst. Data Analysis: Assesses client needs and translates information requests into actionable items using documented processes. Determines report requirements by discussing the needs with the end users and designing the report formats and creating the report as needed. Generates and utilizes sophisticated Excel-based worksheet functions to support data collection and reporting. Provides monthly program statistics reports, as assigned, including grant reports. Reviews proposed database changes and identifies potential impacts. Researches software errors to diagnose issues and implements corrective updates. Serves as a back-up liaison with the database vendor for problem resolution, report requests, and program updates; coordinates with Data Analyst to communicate issues with vendor. Project Management: Works with Director of Performance Outcome and Program Support and the Data Analyst to coordinate and complete team projects. Plans and develops project ideas, including project scope and objectives, task assignments, deadlines, resources, and processes. Monitors project progress through documented project plans, and reports updates to supervisor. Anticipates and addresses project challenges and obstacles, escalating to management as needed. Manages changes to project scope, schedule, and resources. Ensures stakeholder satisfaction by communicating the details of the project and with regular follow up and execution of projects. Evaluates project performance using appropriate project management tools Other Duties: Attends and participates at DCAC’s annual Crimes Against Children conference in the capacity of a volunteer or participant to attend classes. Attends on-going training in field subject matter Participates and actively attends supervisory meetings and team meetings. Attends and participates in agency staff meetings. Completes agency related compliance trainings. Participates in special events for DCAC. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS • A High School Diploma or 60 hours of college work is preferred or an equivalent of the accumulated experience with the equivalent experience and knowledge may be accepted instead of educational requirements. • 3 years of experience working in a multidisciplinary CAC environment or similar, in a support role. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. • Demonstrated ability to track, organize, and manage complex compliance requirements, documentation systems, and reporting processes. • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to translate compliance requirements into clear tracking and reporting tools. • Skilled in time management and attention to detail. • Experience working in cross-functional environments and supporting the execution of operational initiatives with multiple stakeholders. • Must demonstrate/live our organization’s core values: We are child-centered, family-focused, and community-driven; we act with dignity and compassion in all that we do; we recognize our staff as our greatest asset; we operate as a seamless team. • Knowledge of common software and database systems related to administrative duties. • Knowledge and adherence to HIPAA regulations. • Ability to be resourceful, flexible, possess a positive attitude, tact, good judgment, and cultural sensitivity towards others. • Ability to plan for and keep track of multiple tasks and duties. • Ability to problem-solve and critically think in a fast-paced environment. • Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of employees, board members, partners, and community. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work Location: Hybrid work schedule eligible in accordance with DCAC policy. Mental and Physical Abilities: Duties are usually performed seated with occasional periods of standing or walking. Limited physical effort is required associated with lifting and carrying objects (less than 25 lbs.). Working Conditions: Work may be performed but is not limited to an office environment.
