Job Summary Are you passionate about compliance and quality assurance? As a Compliance Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our commissioned passenger transport contracts for SEND, Mainstream (Home to School), Adult Social Care & Health, and Ad Hoc services meet all contract terms. You will conduct both planned and unannounced compliance checks at designated school sites, monitor provider performance, and escalate any non-compliance issues to protect our service users and uphold the Council’s high standards. Role Responsibilities In This Exciting Role, You Will Conduct thorough compliance checks to ensure adherence to contract terms. Monitor and evaluate provider performance regularly. Escalate non-compliance issues promptly to safeguard service users. Collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance service delivery. Maintain accurate records and documentation of compliance activities. Stay updated on relevant legislation and best practices in compliance. Required Skills And Qualifications To succeed in this role, you should have: At least 2 years of experience in a compliance or regulatory role. Knowledge of public sector procurement law and contract law, including EU regulations. Familiarity with public sector financial regulations and procedures. A strong understanding of the public sector policy environment, including Best Value principles.
