Construction Engineer

Job Description - Construction Engineer Position: Construction Engineer Company: Colas Rail - Egypt Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily BMS (Building Management System) installation activities on site. Review approved shop drawings, wiring diagrams, control schematics, point schedules, and project specifications. Coordinate with subcontractors and technicians to ensure work is executed according to approved plans and procedures. Monitor availability and use of materials, tools, manpower, and equipment. Track site progress and ensure activities meet project schedules. Support QA/QC inspections, testing, and approvals of completed work. Prepare daily and weekly progress reports for management. Required Competencies Basic understanding of safety principles and HSE regulations. Knowledge of hazard identification and risk assessment concepts. Analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Ability to follow procedures and work within structured systems. Willingness to learn and develop practical site experience. Strong safety awareness and attention to detail. Responsible, disciplined, and reliable work approach. Ability to work effectively under supervision. Good coordination and teamwork skills. Positive attitude and adaptability to site environments. Overall Purpose The Coordinator Engineer supports the installation and execution of BMS works on construction sites by coordinating resources, monitoring progress, ensuring compliance with approved plans and quality standards, and reporting project performance to management.
