CONTROLLER / ADMIN MANAGER www.bhproperties.com COMPANY BH Properties is a privately held commercial real estate investment firm focused on value-add acquisitions in office, industrial, retail, and multi-family properties throughout the Western United States, along with investments in distressed debt and ground leases. The Company is vertically integrated, with offices in Los Angeles, Riverside, San Francisco, San Diego, Seattle, Phoenix, Austin, Dallas, and Houston, and is able to acquire and close transactions without the need for lengthy due diligence periods. Our 32-year track-record and balance sheet allow us to move quickly and creatively, structuring acquisitions to satisfy seller needs in a highly competitive market. Today, the Company owns and operates approximately 10M square feet across 18 states. POSITION The Controller / Admin Manager will join our team remotely . This position will work during standard US Pacific Time business hours . REPORTING RESPONSIBILITY This role will report to the Senior Managing Director . DUTIES Assist in overseeing the teams in the Philippines including but not limited to the following: Review and processing of contractor invoices Update of property assignments Review and monitoring of the team’s performance Perform oversight of the accounting function in the Philippines. Identify and propose process enhancements. Support and assist in the implementation of process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in operations. Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external use. Help organize and facilitate training sessions, onboarding and outboarding activities. Provide high-level accounting and administrative support to the Senior Managing Director. Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Senior Managing Director. QUALIFICATIONS CPA required. Latin honors (cum laude, magna cum laude, summa cum laude) required. At least 10 years of audit / accounting experience with one of the Big 4 accounting firms with at least 3 years in a managerial role. At least 5 years of supervisory experience. Solid organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and multi-task. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Must possess strong work ethic. Must be a team player.
