Job description

We are seeking a highly analytical and technology-driven Controlling Analyst to support financial controlling activities with a strong focus on data analysis, reporting automation, and IT-based solutions . The role requires expertise in data modeling, visualization tools (e.g., Power BI), and database management (e.g., MS Access), enabling efficient decision-making and operational transparency. Key Responsibilities Financial Controlling & Analysis Perform detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis, forecasting, and budgeting support. Monitor financial performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes with data-driven insights. Collaborate with business units controllers to provide financial transparency and support strategic decisions. Data Analytics & Reporting Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI and other BI tools. Analyze large datasets to generate actionable insights and improve business performance. Automate recurring reports and data processes to increase efficiency and accuracy. Ensure data consistency, integrity, and governance across systems. IT Solutions & Systems Support Develop and manage database solutions using MS Access or similar tools. Support integration between financial systems, databases, and reporting platforms. Identify and implement opportunities for digitalization and process optimization. Process Improvement Drive continuous improvement initiatives in controlling processes through automation and data solutions. Standardize reporting frameworks and KPIs across the organization. Document workflows and ensure best practices in data management and reporting. Education Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. Professional Experience experience in controlling, finance analysis, or data analytics. Proven experience working with Power BI , Excel (advanced level) , and MS Access . Experience with ERP systems (SAP) is a strong advantage. Technical Skills Strong expertise in: Data visualization (Power BI or similar) Database management (MS Access) Advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros) Ability to work with large datasets and complex systems. Languages English: Mandatory (advanced/professional proficiency required) Portuguese: Native or fluent (preferred) Additional languages are considered a plus Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into business insights. Proactive mindset with a focus on innovation and digital transformation.
