Cook (Part-Time) - SPAR Blackwater SPAR Blackwater is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Cook to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality food products, maintaining excellent food hygiene standards, and supporting the day-to-day operation of the deli and food service area. The successful candidate must be available to work 2-3 days per week, including weekends as required. Main Duties Prepare and cook food to company standards Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and freshness Follow all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures Maintain a clean and organised kitchen and food preparation area Monitor stock levels and report any shortages to management Work as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of the food department Provide excellent customer service when required Previous cooking or food preparation experience (preferred) HACCP training or knowledge of food safety procedures (desirable) A passion for food and attention to detail Good organisational and time-management skills The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and teamwork skills The ability to use initiative Sound judgement with the ability to make decisions Self-motivated Good attention to detail Reliable and flexible regarding working hours
