Job description

We're looking for an experienced and strategic leader to coordinate the delivery of major precinct initiatives that will shape the future of our City for generations to come. As Coordinator City Precincts, you will lead the planning, coordination and implementation of transformational place-based projects, bringing together government agencies, industry partners, investors and community stakeholders to drive meaningful outcomes. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering the City's vision for vibrant, connected and investment-ready destinations, with an initial focus on progressing catalyst projects within Stirling City Centre. What you'll be responsible for Leading strategic precinct planning, renewal and transformation initiatives across the City. Driving the delivery of key catalyst projects from concept through to implementation. Coordinating complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, agencies and delivery partners. Identifying and facilitating investment, funding and partnership opportunities. Building productive relationships with developers, investors, government representatives and community stakeholders. Providing strategic advice and recommendations to senior leaders, the Executive Team and Council. Influencing and coordinating outcomes across multidisciplinary teams. Position Description
About you You're a forward-thinking leader who thrives in complex environments and enjoys turning ambitious visions into tangible outcomes. You will bring: Significant experience leading complex urban development, precinct renewal, property development or city-shaping projects. Strong knowledge of planning, development and place-making principles. Demonstrated experience building and maintaining influential stakeholder relationships. Exceptional communication, negotiation and engagement skills. Commercial acumen and a strong understanding of investment attraction and partnership opportunities. The ability to navigate complexity, influence outcomes and drive projects to completion. Tertiary qualifications in Urban and Regional Planning, Property Development, Project Management, Urban Design or a related discipline.
