Position Summary: We are seeking a Coordinator, Post Production to support our Film and Television teams across a dynamic slate of projects. This role will play a key part in assisting with post-production workflows, delivery processes, and cross-functional coordination to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standard. The ideal candidate brings a foundational understanding of post-production, strong organizational and project coordination skills, and a passion for the entertainment industry. This role is highly collaborative and offers the opportunity to contribute to projects at various stages of the post-production lifecycle. Job Responsibilities Support the coordination of end-to-end post-production and delivery processes for film and television projects, ensuring materials are prepared and delivered accurately and on time. Assist in tracking and organizing deliverables, including digital and physical assets, for domestic and international distribution. Help ensure that all technical specifications and distributor requirements are documented, tracked, and met. Coordinate with internal teams (production, post-production, legal, and operations) to support smooth delivery workflows and resolve issues as they arise. Maintain and help manage relationships with post-production vendors, facilities, and distribution partners, ensuring clear communication and follow-up. Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, proactively flagging risks or delays and supporting solutions. Evaluate and analyze materials and reports, ensuring deadlines are met and assisting in the creation of presentations and status updates. Demonstrate awareness of department goals and how assigned work contributes to broader business objectives. Support key initiatives and work cross-functionally with teams and senior leaders on post-production and delivery-related projects. Coordinate with team leads to develop new ideas and contribute on an ongoing basis to team and project development. Track department and project-based expenses, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial processes; identify opportunities for cost efficiencies where appropriate. Assist in maintaining organized records of post-production assets, documentation, and communications. Stay informed on industry trends, tools, and technologies related to post-production and delivery. Actively participate in team development activities and culture-building initiatives, including team events and engagement efforts. Support onboarding and provide guidance to Assistants, contributing to knowledge-sharing and team development where applicable. Skills & Experience Experience in post-production, with a focus on delivery and servicing. Strong understanding of picture and sound formats, and experience with digital and physical media. Proven experience managing relationships with major studios and distributors. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Familiarity with industry-standard post-production software and tools. Experience working in a large studio environment (preferred) Familiarity with international distribution requirements (preferred) Knowledge of ITIL and service delivery best practices (preferred) Compensation Range ; $70-$72K / year About FIFTH SEASON FIFTH SEASON is an entertainment industry leader specializing in the development, production, financing, and distribution of premium films, television series, and documentaries.
