Job Description The Cost Estimation Engineer is responsible for preparing, analyzing, and presenting accurate and reliable cost estimates for new projects and engineering changes, as well as providing financial insights to support key decision-making by management and the sales department. The role covers multiple plants within the TRIM Group and reports directly to the Regional Costing Department Manager. Responsibilities Preparing cost calculations and quotations for new and ongoing programs based on customer documentation and available data Collaborating closely with other departments to provide preliminary technical and cost-related information for products and proposed solutions Analyzing and updating costs in response to changes in the production process or product design Preparing profitability analyses for planned initiatives (business cases) Verifying documentation and offers for internal and external customers Monitoring costs and ensuring the highest standards in cost estimation Requirements University degree (preferably in finance, engineering, or a related field) Experience in a manufacturing company within finance, engineering, or sales is an advantage Previous experience in a similar role will be considered a plus Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, charts, advanced formulas) Very good command of English, allowing effective work in an international environment Strong analytical and logical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize data Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactive attitude Category B driving license Equal Opportunity Employer Lear Corporation is committed to fair, merit‑based employment practices and equal opportunity.
