Customer, Strategy & Communications Strategy - Placement Year (July 2027) BMW Financial Services, Farnborough. This placement offers broad, hands-on experience across Corporate & Customer Strategy, Product, Marketing and Digital within the Customer, Strategy & Communication team. You will support corporate strategy, customer insights, product development, marketing campaign delivery and key digital transformation initiatives. Working with colleagues across BMW Group Financial Services, Alphabet and ALPHERA, you will build and develop strategic, commercial, project management, communication and digital delivery skills while contributing to key business priorities. What awaits you? Support Corporate Strategy and Customer Insights requirements, working with colleagues across our UK organisation and within our Munich headquarters. Support the development, governance and launch of products and services, including go-to-market planning. Carry out market, competitor and customer research and analyse data to identify trends and opportunities. Help create business cases, project requirements, presentations and recommendations. Support the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns, promotional activity and performance reporting. Support the Change & Innovation Manager in the creation and facilitation of Strategy workshops and training Coordinate projects, milestones and stakeholders, while supporting digital, CRM, process improvement and AI initiatives. Support digital project portfolio and resource planning, helping to shape future systems and working with sales company counterparts and development teams. Support digital stakeholder engagement, communications, customer queries and support materials, using market and data insights to identify trends and issues. What should you bring along? Organisation and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, projects and deadlines. Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence working with a wide range of stakeholders (including C-Suite members) and excellent attention to detail. A proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to work independently, solve problems and contribute effectively as part of a team. Strong analytical skills and commercial awareness, with an interest in customer, market and business insight, data and emerging technologies. Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook, with confidence learning digital platforms such as Salesforce. An interest in strategy, marketing, communications and digital innovation. An interest in coding or technology, with exposure to SQL, Java or APIs considered advantageous; this is not a pure coding role. A Business qualification at A-level or as part of a degree is preferred. What can you look forward to?
