Overview: Pembina Pipeline Corporation’s Calgary office is actively hiring for a Cyber Security Operational Technology (OT) Senior Analyst or Analyst to join our Cyber Security team. Reporting to the Cyber Security Ops & Identity Management Manager, the Analyst acts as a key technical liaison between Cyber Security and field teams, supporting the secure and reliable operation of Pembina’s Operational Technology (OT) systems. Pembina’s Information Services team, within the Legal, People and Corporate Affairs division, delivers technology solutions that enable safe, reliable, and efficient business operations. The team manages enterprise infrastructure, technology platforms, data security, vendor relationships, and regulatory compliance while advancing digital solutions, automation, and emerging technologies that improve productivity and business performance. The successful candidate will work with adaptable, collaborative, and forward-thinking professionals in an evolving technology landscape. Analyst: Supports Cyber OT initiatives by identifying and mitigating cyber risks, implementing security controls, and helping maintain secure and reliable operational technology environments. Senior Analyst: Leads complex Cyber OT initiatives by providing technical expertise, guiding cyber risk mitigation and security solutions, and driving improvements that strengthen the security and resilience of operational technology environments. Responsibilities: Champion Pembina’s Zero by Choice safety culture and Life Saving Rules by embedding physical, psychological, and cyber safety into all work practices while taking personal accountability to maintain compliance, support audit readiness, proactively identify risks, and protect our people, assets, and data; Administer and maintain OT, EDR, MDR and NDR platforms, including agent and sensor deployment configuration, policy tuning, upgrades and troubleshooting; Manage OT asset visibility and inventory, including onboarding new field sites, assets, and network segments into monitoring; Leverage EDR capabilities to identify, prioritize, and report vulnerabilities across managed endpoints;\ Configure and support OT firewalls, including rule management and troubleshooting; Monitor the health and performance of security platforms across IT and OT/ICS environments; Investigate and triage security alerts and support incident response and threat detection activities, escalating as required; Partner with field teams to coordinate security tooling deployments, upgrades, and ongoing operational support; Maintain accurate documentation of security configurations, deployment standards, and operational procedures; and Participate and support an equitable, diverse, and inclusive workplace. Qualifications: 5+ years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, or Operational Technology (OT), including cybersecurity projects involving control systems or critical infrastructure; Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, GICSP, or ISA/IEC 62443, and experience in the energy, oil and gas, or utilities sector are considered assets; Strong knowledge of OT/ICS environments, including SCADA, DCS, PLCs, industrial networks, and protocols such as Modbus, OPC, and EtherNet/IP; Hands-on experience implementing and administering OT security technologies, including EDR, NDR, firewalls, IDS, endpoint protection, and passive network monitoring solutions; Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, secure OT architectures, vulnerability management, and patch management practices; Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as NIST CSF, IEC 62443, and ISO 27001; Familiarity with industrial control system vendors such as Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider Electric, and Honeywell; Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively manage priorities and deadlines; Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to collaborate across IT, OT, field operations, and business teams; Experience with ServiceNow, OT incident response, and governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) activities is considered an asset; and Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and improvement, with a proactive approach to advancing cybersecurity and protecting critical infrastructure from evolving threats.
