Job Title: Data Platform Engineer II Department: Data Analytics/Warehousing, & Business Intelligence Country: United States of America State/Province: Arkansas City: Lowell Full/Part Time: Full time Job Summary: Under general supervision, this position supports internal leaders in the process of making informed business decisions that improve or sustain the organization's competitive position. This role is responsible for providing guidance on business requirements, designing and developing reports and dashboards, enhancing knowledge of company data, participating and leading entry level training courses, analyzing and extracting large amounts of data, and assisting in implementing solutions. Job Description: Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with business partners to identify and document informatics and analytics requirements under general guidance from senior leaders of the team; guide the business partners in discussions using a data visualization tool to present data in order to identify concerns and apply solutions quickly to achieve business objectives Partner with information technology teams and subject matter experts to understand data quality issues and drive the resolution of discrepancies Participate in the design of new data structures and dimensional models in assigned business areas of the data warehouse Lead entry level training courses on all data analytical tools Leverage introductory consultation skills to define and assist in implementing solutions Develop business knowledge and skills to effectively anticipate and define opportunities to apply business intelligence and analytics solutions in order to improve business outcomes Develop business intelligence and analytics solutions to support business needs, including, but not limited to, basic reporting and advanced analytics Create reports for parts of the organization that do not have a business intelligence unit or skill set Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or foreign equivalent, or suitable combination of education, experience and training, and/or military equivalent with at least 1 year of experience in Business Intelligence AND Demonstration of the following skills and abilities through education, certifications, military, or other experiences SQL Server Database Experience Power BI Experience Python Experience Spark Experience SQL Server Reporting Services Experience Big Query Experience Azure Dev Ops Experience Other Data Visualization Tools Experience Ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment Ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas through various mediums This position is not eligible for employment-based sponsorship. Compensation: Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company’s bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
