Devops Engineer

Position Summary:The DevOps Engineer is responsible for administering and streamlining software development and IT operations through automation and CI/CD processes. This role partners closely with Development, Security, and Infrastructure teams to ensure efficient application deployments, adherence to compliance standards, and overall system reliability. The DevOps Engineer plays a key role in delivering, faster, more stable releases and maintaining high-performing environments. This position in based in our Newport Beach, California office and requires on-site presence five days per week. The salary for this role is $120,000. Job Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and database deployments.Manage and monitor cloud environments (Azure preferred; AWS or GCP acceptable)Collaborate with development teams to support seamless integration and deliveryEnforce compliance with Separation of Duties (SoD) and related policiesPartner with IT Security to implement best practices across infrastructure and deployments Troubleshoot and resolve issues across production and stating environments Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliabilityRequired Qualifications:Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.)Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)Experience with version control systems (Git) Familiarity with monitoring tools Strong communication and collaboration skills Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) 3+ years of experience in DevOps or related rolesMust-Haves: Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelinesExperience with Azure DevOpsExperience operating in Azure environments Experience enforcing and maintaining SoD policy compliance Preferred Qualifications/ Nice to Have: Experience with healthcare compliance frameworks (HIPPA, HITRUST, ISO 27001/27002, URAC, CMS, NIST) Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and/or ClickHouse Understanding of networking and security principles Hand-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
