Job Description The Director, Cyber Risk Advisory is responsible for designing and delivering strategic cyber risk solutions that help clients strengthen security, enhance resilience, and achieve business objectives. The role assesses cyber risk across people, processes, technology, data, and third-party ecosystems, advising clients on emerging threats, regulatory requirements, governance, and risk management strategies. Partnering closely with clients and cross-functional stakeholders, you will help develop innovative solutions that address complex security challenges and builds trusted advisor relationships. Through strategic consulting and thought leadership, the role helps position Visa as a leader in Cyber Risk, Operational Resilience, Third-Party Risk Management, Cyber Governance, and Digital Trust. Key Responsibilities: Design and lead tailored Cyber Risk management and Cyber Resilience advisory engagements that help clients strengthen their Cyber risk posture, meet regulatory expectations, and achieve measurable business outcomes. Assess clients' end-to-end cyber and fraud risk ecosystems, identifying vulnerabilities across people, processes, technology, and third-party dependencies, and develop actionable transformation roadmaps. Partner with data, product, technology, and client-facing teams to develop scalable cyber risk frameworks, risk assessment methodologies, and industry-specific consulting propositions. Advise financial institutions, fintechs, merchants, and public sector organizations on emerging cyber threats, AI and digital identity risks, and evolving regulatory requirements. Develop and deliver innovative solutions leveraging advanced analytics, AI, automation, and risk intelligence to improve cyber resilience and operational effectiveness. Cultivate a risk-first, client-centric culture within the advisory practice, ensuring solutions balance security, customer experience, regulatory compliance, and commercial outcomes. Lead strategic client engagements, executive workshops, and board-level discussions, helping clients prioritize investments, quantify risk exposure, and build long-term cyber resilience capabilities. Collaborate with Account Executives and regional sales teams to identify growth opportunities, develop value propositions, support business development efforts, and drive practice revenue through advisory engagements, managed services, and solution-led consulting. Build and scale new advisory offerings across Cyber Risk, Third-Party Risk, Digital Trust, and AI Risk Governance, ensuring alignment with market demand and Visa's broader risk strategy. Develop trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, regulators, technology partners, and ecosystem providers to position Visa as a strategic advisor and thought leader in cyber risk management. Leverage emerging technologies, including Generative AI and Agentic AI capabilities, to enhance consulting delivery, accelerate risk assessments, improve threat intelligence analysis, and drive scalable client outcomes. Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. Qualifications 12+ years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or Advanced Degree (e.g., Master's/MBA). Proven experience in leading and delivering Cyber Risk consulting and advisory engagements for large enterprises, financial institutions, fintechs, or technology organizations. Experience conducting cyber risk assessments, cyber maturity reviews, security strategy development, and risk transformation programs aligned to business objectives. Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and regulatory requirements, including NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, SWIFT CSCF, and regional regulatory expectations. Experience partnering with cross-functional teams across technology, security, risk, compliance, product, and business functions to design and implement scalable cyber risk solutions. Experience advising senior executives and stakeholders on cyber risk management, operational resilience, governance, and strategic security investments. Demonstrated ability to identify client challenges, develop actionable recommendations, and deliver sustainable cyber risk improvement outcomes. Experience supporting business development activities, including client relationship management, solution development, proposal creation, and achievement of consulting revenue objectives.
