This role leads a diverse portfolio of restaurants, bars, banquets, conferences, hotel food and beverage operations, experiential offerings, and supporting functions, while partnering closely with resort and enterprise leadership to deliver exceptional guest experiences. The Director is accountable for driving revenue growth, maximizing profitability, developing high-performing teams, and ensuring operational excellence across all outlets. Job Specifications: Starting Wage: $90,000 - $124,000 + annual salary + equity Employment Type: Year Round Shift Type: Full Time hours Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age Housing Availability: No Job Responsibilities: Leadership & Strategy Develop and execute the strategic vision for Park City Hospitality food and beverage operations. Lead managers and supervisors across multiple outlets and operational disciplines. Drive a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, innovation, and continuous improvement. Establish operational priorities aligned with resort and enterprise objectives. Partner with resort leadership to support guest satisfaction and overall business performance. Financial Management Maintain full accountability for food and beverage revenue, expenses, labor, and profitability. Develop annual operating and capital budgets and manage performance against established targets. Identify opportunities to improve productivity, optimize labor utilization, and strengthen financial results. Analyze business trends and performance metrics to guide decisions and operational improvements. Support long-range planning and capital investment initiatives, including maintenance of a multi-year capital plan. Operations & Guest Experience Drive service excellence and guest satisfaction through effective operational leadership. Ensure consistent execution of Vail Resorts food and beverage standards across all operations. Oversee restaurant and bar operations, hotel food and beverage, banquets, conferences, special events, and seasonal programming. Monitor quality, food safety, sanitation, liquor licensing, and regulatory compliance standards. Collaborate with Lodging, Mountain Operations, Recreation, Sales, and other resort partners to deliver a seamless guest experience. Talent Development Recruit, develop, engage, and retain top talent across the food and beverage organization. Create a culture of coaching, feedback, recognition, professional development, and accountability. Lead succession planning and strengthen leadership capability across year-round and seasonal teams. Partner with Human Resources and Finance on workforce planning and staffing strategies. Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Sales, Procurement, and Accounting to achieve business objectives. Maintain productive relationships with vendors, distributors, homeowner associations, and community partners. Support group business, resort events, community partnerships, and destination programming. Represent Park City Hospitality in cross-functional planning and execution. Compliance & Safety Ensure compliance with company policies, health regulations, licensing requirements, and safety standards. Promote a culture of safety, sustainability, and risk awareness across all operations. Maintain readiness for incident response and operational continuity planning. Organizational Scope Active member of the Park City Hospitality Senior Leadership Team, helping drive the direction and performance of overall hospitality operations. The role leads multiple operational managers across year-round and seasonal locations and holds significant operating, labor, and capital budget responsibility. Direct Oversight Park City Hospitality restaurant and bar operations. Hotel food and beverage operations. Banquet, conference, catering. Special events, village activations, and hospitality food and beverage programming. Food and beverage support functions, including culinary production and workforce planning. Indirect Partnership & Collaborative Leadership Golf and recreation operations. Lodging operations and homeowner association partners. Sales, conference services, marketing, and destination programming. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Culinary Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 7+ years of progressive food and beverage leadership experience. Multi-unit restaurant or resort food and beverage management experience. Demonstrated financial management and budget accountability experience. Proven ability to lead large teams and deliver operational results. Strong business acumen, analytical skills, communication, and leadership capability. Working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, liquor compliance, and risk-management requirements. Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as business needs require. Preferred Resort hospitality experience. Experience leading destination food and beverage operations. Banquet, catering, event, and conference services experience. Experience managing year-round and seasonal business models. SERV Safe and TIPS certifications. Experience with hospitality payroll, HR, financial, and point-of-sale systems. The expected pay range is $90,000 - $124,000 + annual salary + equity. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position.
