Key Accountabilities Provide strategic leadership across security, safety, and risk management to protect guests, colleagues, assets, and the hotel's reputation. Ensure compliance with corporate policies, local regulations, and industry standards related to security, safety, and emergency management. Develop and enhance security and risk management frameworks, policies, procedures, and controls. Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks through intelligence gathering, incident analysis, and preventative measures. Lead crisis management, emergency preparedness, incident response, and post-incident reviews. Oversee investigations and claims management, coordinating with legal counsel, insurers, and authorities as required. Drive occupational health and safety initiatives, training programmes, and workers' compensation processes. Lead the security team through effective recruitment, development, performance management, and succession planning. Manage departmental budgets and optimise the deployment of security personnel, technology, and resources. Requirements Extensive experience in security, safety, and operational risk management within a luxury hospitality environment. Proven crisis leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to perform effectively under pressure. Strong investigative, analytical, and incident management capabilities. Solid understanding of security-related legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements. Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills.
