Position Summary The Head of Strategy Execution & Change Management is a senior leadership role responsible for translating the Commercial Gaming (Class III) strategic agenda into disciplined, measurable execution across IGT's landbased gaming segments. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Gaming, Class III, this leader acts as the connective tissue between strategy formulation and on-the-ground delivery — building the operating cadence, governance, and change capability needed to move the segment through major transformation initiatives, portfolio shifts, M&A integration, and operating model change. This individual partners closely with commercial, product, R&D, supply chain, and finance leaders to ensure strategic priorities are resourced, sequenced, tracked, and adopted — and that the organization and its people are brought along successfully through each change. The role combines strategic rigor with hands-on program leadership, planning capabilities and organizational change expertise. Key Responsibilities Strategy Execution & Portfolio Governance • Own the end-to-end execution framework for the Class III strategic plan, translating strategic priorities into a structured portfolio of initiatives with clear owners, milestones, resourcing, and success metrics. • Establish and run the strategic operating cadence (e.g., quarterly business reviews, OKR/KPI check-ins, steering committees) that keeps segment leadership aligned on progress, risks, and trade-offs. • Identify execution risks and bottlenecks early, and broker cross-functional resolution before they threaten strategic outcomes. • Partner with Finance and FP&A to link strategic initiatives to business case value, tracking realized benefits against investment cases. Change Management & Organizational Readiness • Design and lead enterprise change management strategies for major transformation efforts, including operating model redesign, M&A integration, digital/systems transformation, and go-to-market shifts. • Build organizational change capability across Commercial Gaming — coaching leaders and managers on sponsorship behaviors, and equipping teams with tools for stakeholder engagement, communications, and adoption tracking. • Develop and execute stakeholder engagement and communication plans that build understanding, commitment, and adoption of strategic changes across corporate, field, and manufacturing teams. • Define and track change readiness and adoption metrics; adjust plans based on feedback and resistance signals. • Lead post-implementation reinforcement to sustain change and embed new ways of working into standard operating rhythms. Cross-Functional Planning Support • Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to the Head of Commercial Gaming and the broader Class III leadership team on strategic priorities and organizational implications. • Build strong working relationships across Product, R&D, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, HR, Finance, IT, and Legal to align execution plans with functional realities. • Represent Commercial Gaming in enterprise-wide strategy, transformation, and planning forums; ensure segment priorities are reflected in company-wide planning. Continuous Improvement & Capability Building • Champion strategic planning, project management, and change management best practices and tools across the segment; raise the maturity of execution disciplines over time. • Conduct post-mortems on major initiatives to capture lessons learned and refine playbooks for future transformation work. • Stay current on industry, competitive, and regulatory dynamics affecting Class III gaming to ensure strategic execution plans remain relevant and responsive. Qualifications Education & Experience • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field required; MBA or relevant advanced degree strongly preferred. • 5+ years of progressive experience in strategy execution, corporate strategy, management consulting, PMO leadership, or organizational change management, including at least 4+ years in a people-leadership capacity. • Experience in gaming, gaming equipment manufacturing, hospitality, or a related regulated, hardware-plus-software industry strongly preferred; familiarity with Class III gaming operations, tribal and commercial casino markets, and gaming regulatory environments is a significant advantage. • Demonstrated track record leading large-scale, cross-functional transformation programs (e.g., operating model redesign, M&A integration, ERP/systems rollouts, go-to-market transformation) from strategy through adoption. Skills & Competencies • Strategic thinking paired with pragmatic execution instincts — equally comfortable shaping strategy and driving disciplined delivery. • Deep planning expertise, including artificial intelligence tools applied in real-world, complex environments. • Executive-level communication and influencing skills; able to build trust and drive alignment with senior leaders, including at the C-suite/EVP level. • Strong analytical and business-case skills; comfortable working with Finance to quantify and track strategic value. • Proven program/project management rigor, including governance design, risk management, and reporting for complex, multi-workstream initiatives. • High emotional intelligence and resilience; able to navigate ambiguity, competing priorities, and organizational resistance with composure. • Team leadership and talent development skills, with experience building and growing high-performing teams. Key Working Relationships • Head of Commercial Gaming, Class III (direct manager) • Commercial Gaming Leadership Team (Product, R&D, Sales, Marketing, Ops) • Corporate Strategy, Finance/FP&A, and Enterprise PMO • People & Culture / Organizational Development • Legal & Compliance (as related to regulatory and M&A matters) Working Conditions & Travel This is a remote role, with regular in-person collaboration in Vegas expected with segment leadership. Domestic and occasional international travel (estimated 15–25%) may be required to support site visits, stakeholder engagement, and program milestones. IGT is committed to sustaining a workforce that reflects the diversity of the global customers and communities we serve and to fostering an inclusive environment where all employees feel valued, respected, and engaged.
