Job description Dog walker We are looking for a reliable and compassionate Dog walker to provide safe, engaging outdoor time for dogs while ensuring their wellbeing and following owners' instructions. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling dogs of various sizes, attentive to animal behaviour, and able to communicate clearly with pet owners and colleagues. Responsibilities Take dogs on supervised walks using appropriate leads and equipment, ensuring safety at all times. Monitor each dog's behaviour, appetite and health; report any concerns to the owner promptly. Follow individual care plans and owner instructions regarding routes, duration and handling. Maintain accurate records of walks, timings and any incidents. Ensure equipment (leads, harnesses, waste bags) is clean, secure and well maintained. Provide friendly, professional service and clear communication with pet owners and the team. Requirements Previous experience caring for dogs or other pets is preferred but not essential. Comfortable handling dogs of different sizes and responding calmly to stress or unexpected behaviour. Good observational skills and attention to detail. Reliable, punctual and able to work independently. Good communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
