DR Governance Program Lead (EU Agency Project) About the client & the role We are Optiveum, a specialized tech recruitment and outsourcing company. We are currently sourcing a Disaster Recovery (DR) Governance Program Lead on behalf of our IT consulting partner. In this role, you will be part of the DESOPS framework, delivering services directly for a prestigious European Union agency based in Warsaw (operating in the international security and border management sector). You will play a key role within the Data Centre Services team, ensuring ICT Disaster Recovery governance, maintaining operational readiness, and acting as the central focal point for DR coordination across technical teams and stakeholders. What you will do Support the Data Centre Team Lead in coordinating the ICT DR workstream within the Data Centre Team. Contribute to ICT DR plan definition, review, and continuous upkeep for all in-scope services. Coordinate DR planning, testing cycles, reporting, and remediation tracking. Maintain DR readiness visibility by managing dashboards, evidence status, and action tracking. Act as the primary focal point for ICT DR coordination towards Business Continuity Management (BCM) and internal stakeholders. Our expectations Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional IT experience in operations, infrastructure coordination, resilience, or service governance. Specialized Experience: At least 3 years specifically in disaster recovery, business continuity support, resilience coordination, or service recovery governance. Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (Level 6). Languages: English at a B2 level. Certifications (Mandatory): ITIL 4 Foundation (or equivalent). AND at least one of the following: CBCI, DRI ABCP / CBCP, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer, or an equivalent internationally recognized certification in Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery. Core Competencies: Strong understanding of ICT DR governance and operational readiness. Ability to translate BCM requirements and Business Impact Analysis (BIA) outputs into structured ICT DR activities. Working knowledge of backup, restore, replication, failover/failback, and service recovery concepts. Strong coordination skills across infrastructure, operations, applications, security, and vendors. Security Clearance: Must be willing and eligible to undergo a security screening procedure within the first 45 days to obtain a CONFIDENTIEL UE/EU CONFIDENTIAL clearance. (Already holding a valid clearance is a strong advantage). What is offered Salary: Up to 190 PLN net/h (B2B contract). Type of work: Mostly remote, with occasional visits to the client's Warsaw headquarters. Stability: Long-term cooperation on a framework contract (initially 12 months, with planned renewals up to 48 months).
