Permanent, Part-Time (3 days per week) If you are looking to take step into academia or a step back from industry, this position is for you! We are seeking a part-time Education Adviser (3 days per week) to join our Allied Health Education team. We welcome applications from professionals with backgrounds in Aged Care, Disability Care, Individual Support or related Community Services who are passionate about supporting the next generation of allied health professionals. Reporting to the Training Manager, your key responsibilities will include: Student Support & Academic Guidance: Provide academic guidance to VET students by responding to education and study enquiries across our Allied Health and Community Services qualifications via phone, email and online resources, supporting students to achieve successful learning outcomes. Assessment & Feedback: Assess written workbooks and course activities within required timeframes and benchmark standards, making consistent assessment decisions and providing detailed, constructive feedback. Quality Assurance: Participate in assessment moderation, validation and continuous improvement activities to ensure assessment practices remain consistent, compliant and aligned with industry standards. Course & Resource Development: Contribute to the development, review and continuous improvement of training materials, learning resources and courses across Aged Care, Disability Care, Individual Support or related Community Services. Professional Development & Team Collaboration: Maintain industry currency, participate in Education Team meetings, support the onboarding of new team members, and contribute to initiatives that enhance the student learning experience.
Must hold a Diploma or higher in Allied Health Services or a related discipline (including Aged Care, Disability Care, Individual Support or related Community Services). Degree-level qualifications are highly regarded. Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or willingness to obtain - costs covered by AIPC) A minimum 2 years of recent experience in Allied Health or a related discipline (voluntary or paid) $79,267.12 base + super (pro-rata) WWCC employee or state equivalent
