Italy Education Specialist In this role, you will be the scientific representative of the company, building relationships with academia, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and scientific associations. Develops & delivers educational programming for Italy towards future and practicing dental professionals to drive brand awareness, recommendation, trust & usage of consumer and professional product s. By engaging with stakeholders, you'll support clinical evidence dissemination and enhance Colgate's reputation in oral health. You'll communicate product and research insights by delivering presentations to dental professionals and students at universities, congresses, and webinars. Job Purpose Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and experts of academic institutions and scientific associations within the oral health and dental area Deliver scientific and educational content through engaging talks and presentations to dental professionals, students, and other healthcare professionals in educational events across universities, dental congresses, and digital webinars Support the Scientific Affairs team in adapting scientific materials and presentation content for local market needs and educational event Help elevate our content segmentation & delivery to key targets in the digital space Stay updated on the latest scientific developments in the field of oral health and hygiene and provide scientific support for internal and external stakeholders Maintain and update scientific content of educational presentations based on local market needs and audience Plans and executes interaction with relevant influencer targets to secure long-term sustainable relationships Conduct scientific training of the local sales force Collect key field intelligence regarding novel scientific advances and educational requirements across the oral health sector Travel: 50-60% of the time Knowledge & Skills Level of Education: Bachelor’s degree in Life Science or Dental Hygiene. Master's degree (e.g., CTF, pharmacy, dentistry) or Ph.D. in life sciences is a plus. Years of Experience (range): Minimum of 3 years of solid experience in a field position engaging with practicing professionals and/or KOLs; previous work experience in the pharma or MD industry or oral health industry (e.g., medical science liaison) is a plus. Knowledge of the Italian professional/dentist business and academic network is a plus. Work experience showcasing excellent scientific communication skills is a must-have; engagement with larger audiences is a plus. Superb communication, negotiation and influencing skills across diverse targets with differing backgrounds and needs Work experience with interactive remote and digital communication tools is a must. Digital savviness & eagerness to learn and drive change, especially regarding digital and remote presentation & engagement tools. Excellent understanding of science, a passion for learning & teaching is a must. Fluent Italian; very good level of English. Compensation and Benefits Expected Gross Annual Salary Range: € 42,500 – €49,400 gross per year This position is offered under a permanent employment contract. The role is governed by the applicable Italian National Collective Bargaining Agreement (“CCNL”) Chemical Industry, including the relevant job classification and economic provisions applicable to the position. The initial compensation within the above range will be determined on the basis of objective, transparent and gender-neutral criteria, including professional experience, skills and competencies, qualifications, scope of responsibilities, role requirements, location, applicable CCNL classification and internal company policies. Subject to role eligibility and applicable company policy, employees may also be eligible to participate in variable compensation programs tied to company and/or individual performance, including an annual target bonus opportunity.
