Job Summary: The Electrical Assembler is responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical control panels and components according to engineering drawings and production schedules. This role supports the efficient and accurate completion of electrical builds for hoist systems and other industrial equipment. Key Responsibilities: Interpret and work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and bill-of-materials. Assemble electrical components such as junction boxes, terminals, push buttons, and control panels. Perform wiring operations including cutting, stripping, crimping, and mounting wires to connect electrical units. Conduct point-to-point testing and verify functionality of assembled systems. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues. Maintain compliance with safety procedures and ESD handling protocols. Document work progress and report any discrepancies or delays to the supervisor. Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen events and Lean practices.
MUST HAVE experience as electrical assembler or panel building. MUST HAVE general electrical hand tools(wrenches, socket set, screw drivers, small hammer, allen wrenches) Must be able to read and translate electrical schematics Must have a working knowledge and skills with drills, taps, hole punches, jig saw, hole saw, conduit benders, pipe threading. Should have a working knowledge of electrical components and electrical circuitry MUST be willing to work 5 X 8hr days per week. Must be able to stand for extended amounts of time and work in an industrial environment(most time spent at WeldAll a large scale manufacturing and welding facility) Lift 50lbs unassisted routinely Should be previously certified forklift operator or be willing to be certified A working knowledge of working around/near high voltage systems(ie: 220/480V) A working knowledge of both AC and DC circuits Fast-paced production floor with exposure to electrical components and testing equipment. Collaborative team setting with cross-functional interaction across departments.
