Electrical Engineer (Site Supervision)

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer (Site Supervision) to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will oversee electrical installations and systems on construction sites, ensuring compliance with local regulations and international standards. You will be responsible for supervising electrical work, coordinating with contractors and teams, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality throughout project execution. Supervise and coordinate all electrical installation activities on-site, ensuring work meets design specifications and UAE electrical codes Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to verify compliance with project requirements and safety standards Manage and mentor electrical teams, providing technical guidance and ensuring efficient workflow Analyze electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to identify potential issues and implement solutions Coordinate with other trades and project stakeholders to ensure seamless MEP integration and project progression Document all site activities, including daily reports, inspection records, and non-conformance reports Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental protocols on-site Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide timely resolutions to minimize project delays Maintain organized records of materials, equipment, and labor for accurate project tracking Communicate project status, challenges, and recommendations to project management and clients Conduct safety briefings and training sessions for on-site personnel Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent professional qualification Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical engineering with at least 3 years in site supervision or project management Strong knowledge of UAE electrical codes, standards, and construction regulations Proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical design software Demonstrated expertise in electrical systems, power distribution, and installation practices Proven leadership and team management skills At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
