Job description

About this role: The Electrical Field Specialist performs commercial electrical service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and small‑project installations across a variety of commercial facilities. This role requires a valid Journeyman Electrician License and strong technical skill in diagnosing and resolving electrical issues in active, occupied buildings. Preference to candidates located in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. Compensation: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour pending experience and active state electrical license. Travel expenses paid Vehicle provided Fuel card Travel: On average 2–3-week sprints in Texas Most projects are in Texas with some locations in nearby states. Housing (Airbnb) is paid by company, travel to and from project is covered as well as per diem. Company vehicle is provided Duties / Expectations: Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision Familiarity with commercial building systems, including lighting controls, switchgear, and distribution equipment Apply advanced knowledge of electrical theory and NEC code Perform NEC calculations Execute all types of conduit bends using various bender types Install raceways, boxes, cables, panels, breakers, and transformers Assist with wire pulling and switchboard installation Install light fixtures, devices, and cover plates Connect branch circuits including terminations and equipment Perform basic testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems Read and interpret blueprints and schematics Maintain basic knowledge of control systems and components Perform other related duties as assigned Requirements: High school diploma or GED 2+ years in a commercial specialist/service service role. Expert-level troubleshooting skills in a commercial setting. Must have ability to run and lead small-size projects (1-4 electricians) Possess an active state Journeyman electrical license OSHA 10 certification Ability to pass a criminal and motor vehicle background check
