Engineer, Piping-Benoi

Responsibilities: Productivity: Draft, review, and qualify WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications), PQR (Procedure Qualification Records), and WPQR. Design welding processes for various metals (carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and exotic alloys) using techniques like SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, and FCAW Quality: Enforce compliance with international standards and codes such as ASME, AWS, ISO, and API. Coordinate and interpret NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) methods including RT, UT, MT, PT, and VT. Investigate weld failures, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) Safety: Conduct RA assessment/ BBS observation/ hazard reporting. Participate in department safety work plan. Conduct activities which met regulatory requirements. Attend VSCC meetings if necessary. Requirements: Degree in Mechanical or Marine engineering. Work experience in Marine industry or Refinery Piping works preferably 4 – 5 years Knowledge of Classification requirements; Ship Building Stds. Knowledge of Shipboard Piping Systems Design. Knowledge of piping systems, control system and their classification requirements. AWS Certified Welding Engineer (CWEng) or Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) Other Information: Location: Benoi Road (Island-wide transport provided) 5 days work week Working Hours: 7.25am-5pm
