As an Engineer, R&D Software Quality, you will contribute to the design, development, and execution of automated testing solutions for a modern microservices-based platform, with a strong focus on test automation and API testing. Working closely with Product Management, Software Development, DevOps, and Quality Engineering teams, you will help ensure product quality, improve testing efficiency through automation and AI-assisted approaches, and support the delivery of reliable, scalable software solutions. Engaging employee events and hybrid technology support. What You’ll Be Doing Contribute to software quality engineering activities across web and API-based applications. Review product requirements and technical specifications to help define effective test approaches and identify quality risks. Create and execute test plans that combine manual testing, automated validation, and risk-based coverage. Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts and frameworks, with a strong focus on test automation and API testing. Support testing of microservices-based solutions through functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing. Apply AI-assisted tools and techniques to improve test design, automation development, defect analysis, and overall testing efficiency. Investigate test failures by analyzing application behavior, logs, test environments, and database results using SQL. Collaborate closely with software developers, Product Management, DevOps, and other stakeholders to resolve quality issues. Maintain test cases, execution results, defects, and requirements traceability within test management tools. Identify root causes of quality issues and contribute to corrective and preventive actions. Support continuous improvement of testing processes, automation practices, and quality standards. Communicate testing progress, quality risks, and findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. What We Look For Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Approximately 3+ years of experience in software quality engineering, software testing, or test automation. Hands-on experience with automated testing of web and/or API-based applications. Experience with Playwright is preferred; candidates with strong automation experience using Selenium, Cypress, Katalon, or similar frameworks are also encouraged to apply. Understanding of API testing concepts and tools such as Postman, Swagger, or equivalent technologies. Working knowledge of JavaScript and SQL. Familiarity with software development lifecycle practices and testing methodologies including functional, integration, system, and regression testing. Experience collaborating with software engineers to investigate and resolve defects and test failures. Familiarity with test and defect management tools; Polarion experience is a plus. Exposure to Agile development practices; SAFe experience is beneficial. Familiarity with cloud environments, microservices architectures, and DevOps practices is preferred. Knowledge of regulated software environments, including 21 CFR Part 11, is advantageous. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Professional fluency in English.
