We are hiring an English (ESL) Language Teacher to provide in-person, customized lessons to our client in Hoover, AL. Job Information: Ref. # 166938/199144 Students: Two siblings, aged 5 and 8, taking separate, back-to-back classes Location: Lessons are to be held at the students' home in Hoover, AL 35226 (near Heritage Preschool of Ross Bridge on 2700 Ross Bridge Pkwy) Availability: Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday at 9:30 AM or 10:00 AM Lesson Frequency and Duration: Once per week, 1 hour per child Current English level: To be assessed - they understand and speak English, but not fluently Native language: German Students' language needs and goals: Improving their language skills; support for school Responsibilities: Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner Qualifications: Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in English Degree or certification in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second language acquisition, or related field Minimum of two years' teaching experience All Global LT instructor positions are freelance positions.
