Job Title: Environmental Health & Safety Internship Job Code: 40740 Job Location: Camden, AR Job Schedule: 4/10: Employees work 10 hour days, 4 days a week Job Description: L3Harris is seeking a proactive and dedicated Environmental, Health, Safety, & Sustainability (EHS&S) intern to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development and improvement of our EHS programs, policies, and training. The successful candidate will play a key role in fostering a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. Essential Functions: Assist in the development and improvement of EHS programs and policies Respond to employee concerns regarding health and safety issues Conduct hazardous noise surveys and perform Job Hazard Analyses Evaluate indoor air quality and track data from evaluations Coordinate with third-party contractors for EHS-related activities Participate in laboratory health and safety audits Engage in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations Contribute to health and safety reviews of chemical purchase requests Qualifications: Pursuing a degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, Systems Safety, Human Factors or related field Preferred Additional Skills: Knowledge of OSHA, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), indoor air quality, hazardous noise, cranes, and aerial lift operations is preferred. Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
