Position Description CGI is seeking an experienced ERP Functional Business Analyst – HR to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. This role will support enterprise HR modernization initiatives, HR business process improvements, and ERP system enhancements for a large state government client. Your future duties and responsibilities How you'll make an impact Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and system requirements related to HR processes and ERP solutions Lead stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirements-gathering sessions to identify business needs and process improvements Develop process flows, use cases, functional specifications, and supporting documentation Partner with technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable system solutions Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, test script development, execution support, and defect tracking Assist with organizational change management activities, end-user training materials, and stakeholder communications Monitor and track project risks, issues, dependencies, and status updates to support successful project delivery Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on HR operations, compliance, and system optimization Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role What you'll bring 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting enterprise applications or ERP systems Experience supporting HR business functions such as payroll, benefits administration, workforce management, talent acquisition, or employee lifecycle management Strong expertise in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and documentation Experience with process modeling and documentation tools such as Visio, Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities Experience supporting government, public sector, or large enterprise HR system implementations preferred Minimum Education Requirement Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Human Resources, or a related field Desired Qualifications / Preferred Skills Experience with CGI Advantage or similar government ERP/HR platforms Familiarity with public sector procurement, compliance, and regulatory processes PMP, CBAP, or related professional certification Experience supporting organizational change management and transformation initiatives Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project delivery methodologies preferred Other Information: CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $89,600.00 - $138,600.00.
