Job Description What You'll Do Leads development and dissemination of aircraft routing solutions for AirAsia’s widebody and narrowbody route network ​Leads implementation of various holiday and day of week flight schedules to maximize revenue ​Evaluates and implements various fleet changes, special events and charter schedules that meet all operational requirements ​Partners with operational teams to balance operational, financial and efficiency goals ​Facilitates the communication of future flight schedules among various stakeholders throughout the airline ​Oversees distribution of finalized schedules for publication to both internal and external customers ​Develops capabilities of a large team through coaching, mentoring, counseling and providing growth opportunities ​Creates a culture which fosters a professional and respectful workplace, strong work ethic and company pride ​ ​Qualifications & Experience ​1-2 years of experience in airline planning and scheduling Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply ​Bachelor's Degree in Business, Aviation Management, Transportation or equivalent experience ​Demonstrates the highest standards of personal ethics and integrity ​Fundamental knowledge and experience in airline operations and/or scheduling strongly preferred ​Able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of schedule development/ creation through aircraft & crew optimization technique. ​In depth knowledge of Slot management, Schedule Management in the form of SSIM/SSM/ASM. ​ ​ ​Additional Skills, Qualifications & Abilities ​Action orientated, results-driven leader with a natural aptitude for engaging and empowering employees ​Extensive experience in managing and implementing large, complex projects ​Exceptional leadership and and decision making skills ​Strong problem-solving, negotiation and critical thinking ability ​Strong analytical skills with emphasis on details ​Ability to be flexible in rapidly changing conditions and priorities and to redirect team members toward new ideas and approaches in work methods ​Demonstrated ability to perform both independently and as a team member, handle multiple-assignments, complete projects on time and perform under pressure ​Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively with all levels, both verbally and written ​Proven ability to build and facilitate relationships at all levels of the organization both internally and externally ​Proficient in Google Suite software products and/or Microsoft Office (Excel. Powerpoint, Word). ​Some background in using scheduling software, which are not limited to ARMS, Sabre, etc. ​Understands schedule inventory in the form of flight loading in systems which are not limited to Navitaire, Sabre, etc.
