Expert Artisan Maintenance Trainer

Job Title: Expert Artisan Technical Trainer Band Level: 8/9 Division: Academy D Location: Durban KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Maintain Merseta / NAMB / QCTO / ISO 14001 / BBBEE / SABS compliance. Facilitation, assessment and moderation of apprentices and learners and artisans Conduct Fitter and Turner Trade- Phases 1-4 Conduct Pre-Trade Test, Assessment, and Trade test for the Fitter and Turner Trade. Conduct Pneumatic and Hydraulic training. Innovative ideas in training to ensure cost reduction. Ensure all training records comply with the National Auditing Systems of MerSETA/NAMB/QCTO. Always maintain a safe environment. Planning and scheduling of training Development of curriculum modules of the Fitter & Turner Trade to ensure content is up to date continously. Rotational support into different departments. Presentations and information gathering / course content development for artisans QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Essential N4 AND Trade Tested Fitter and Turner Artisan Experience in training apprentices & Artisan’s within the Mechanical / Fitter and Turner Trades. Through levels 1-4, and up to and Including Trade Test. 5 years post apprenticeship, on the job experience, as an artisan. Assessor Certificate, Facilitator Certificate [Advantageous] Excellent PC skills.
