EYP Optimization - Financial Restructuring, Senior Associate

The opportunity Our Financial Restructuring team advises companies, lenders, investors and other stakeholders in stressed or distressed situations, helping evaluate options, stabilize liquidity and develop and implement restructuring solutions. As a Senior, you will join a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment and independently delivers substantial workstreams, review junior work and contribute informed points of view to client discussions. Your key responsibilities Plan and deliver workstreams, coach Associates, identify issues and escalate them with practical recommendations. Analyze liquidity, cash flow, debt capacity and stakeholder positions Prepare or review short-term cash-flow forecasts, options analysis and restructuring plans Support independent business reviews, contingency planning and negotiations Identify key risks, sensitivities and information gaps Coordinate stakeholders and produce clear reports for decision making Review selected work of Associates and provide practical coaching Contribute to proposals, knowledge development and internal initiatives Skills and attributes for success Demonstrated capability in strong cashflow, financial and commercial analysis Demonstrated capability in understanding of distress, debt and restructuring concepts Demonstrated capability in sound judgement, discretion and stakeholder sensitivity Demonstrated capability in clear report writing and negotiation support Demonstrated capability in ability to work accurately under significant time pressure Strong written and verbal communication in English Ability to manage priorities, work collaboratively and exercise sound professional judgement Commitment to integrity, confidentiality, quality and continuous learning To qualify for the role, you must have A recognized bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline; relevant professional qualification or progress toward one is advantageous. Minimum of 2-4 years relevant experience. Eligibility to work in the hiring location and willingness to travel when engagement needs require.
