Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Family Court Adviser (Children & Families) for its client's Cafcass service based in Canterbury, Kent. This is a full-time agency role offering £37.75 per hour and supporting children involved in family court proceedings through robust safeguarding, assessment, and court advisory work. Assessing and analysing court applications where there are child protection or serious welfare concerns. Delivering high-quality safeguarding and child protection advice, assessments, and analysis to the Family Court. Undertaking direct work with children and families to ensure children's voices, wishes, and feelings remain central to decision-making. Preparing clear, evidence-based recommendations and reports to support judicial case management. Influencing parents and carers to remain child-focused throughout court proceedings. Working collaboratively with Local Authorities, legal professionals, and partner agencies to safeguard children. Identifying risks and making referrals to appropriate support services when this will improve outcomes for children. Negotiating effectively with families and professionals to achieve safe and positive outcomes for children. What We Are Looking For Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration. Significant post-qualified experience in children's social work. Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and family court proceedings. Experience of conducting complex assessments and producing high-quality analytical reports. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently while managing a complex caseload. Commitment to keeping children at the centre of all practice.
