Flowing Gas Analyst

Job Purpose Analyse and administer the Sales and Purchase Agreements (SPAs) for all QatarEnergy LNG sales gas and ethane, inter-venture agreements, LPG processing and marketing agreements, back-up agreements, domestic gas SPAs on account of LNG, backflow agreements, emergency back-up agreements and flare reduction agreements both with external parties and between the QatarEnergy LNG ventures including provisions relating to payment, quantity, force majeure and notification, coordinating and monitoring the implementation of all other provisions of the agreements to ensure compliance to contractual obligations, operational efficiency and financial performance. Prepare and analyse all sales gas and ethane market demands including production and cash flow forecasts, in coordination with internal and external stakeholders, to monitor product deliveries, prepare documentation and support financial reporting. Key Job Accountabilities - I Implement and ensure full contractual compliance of all Flowing Gas commercial agreements including gas SPAs for AKG, Barzan and QatarEnergy LNG ventures sales gas and ethane, LPG processing and marketing agreements, back-up agreements, domestic gas SPAs on account of LNG, backflow agreements, emergency back-up agreements and flare reduction agreements. Analyse and resolve queries, ensuring compliance to contractual obligations. Provide functional input for Flowing Gas agreements and/or amendments to existing agreements to ensure compliance with QatarEnergy LNG standards and participate in implementing any proposed changes or variations to the agreements. Identify any potential or actual breaches of the agreements by either the Sellers or Buyers. Participate in the implementation and maintenance of procedures of the SPAs and other agreements, providing analysis and inputs, to comply with contractual obligations and QatarEnergy LNG policies and procedures. Compile data and provide analysis for the preparation of reports/presentations in compliance with applicable standards, internal policies and procedures. Analyse and monitor flowing gas production forecasts and deliveries to ensure business continuity and compliance with volume and/or specifications related provisions of the agreements, providing reports as required. Conduct analysis and identify complex SPA/commercial and operational issues, finding potential causes and impacts, and suggesting recommendations on the most appropriate/optimum approach. Key Job Accountabilities - II Analyse and update annual activities tracking calendar for each agreement to enhance monitoring and compliance as well as ensure capture of QatarEnergy LNG optionality decision milestones. Maintain calculation models, reports, invoices and other documentation ensuring contractual compliance and timely collection of dues. Prepare and issue contractual notices including price notifications, maintenance notices, monthly and annual volume reconciliations to maintain contractual compliance and safeguard commercial rights and obligations. Prepare and verify the issuing of all invoices, monthly cash flow forecasts and monthly/quarterly/annual statements to support financial reporting. Interact regularly and coordinate continuous communication with internal QatarEnergy LNG functions such as Finance and Operations, external buyers/consumers and shareholders on relationship management, resolution of operational/commercial issues as well as information and data exchange. Maintain and operate the division’s "Energy Component – Hydrocarbon Accounting System" as well as the controlled calculation models for each gas SPA to generate invoices and reconciliation reports. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, sciences, economics or business administration. Knowledge and/or Experience - I 6 years general business or industry experience including 4 years of hydrocarbon sales contracts administration experience. Knowledge of the domestic and export Sales Gas sector within the oil and gas industry. Intermediate knowledge of EC Transport, Sales, and Revenue Module skills.
