This role represents an excellent opportunity to deliver a structured food science curriculum where nutritional profiling, biochemical changes during food preparation, and hospitality operations management are integrated into a popular post-16 pathway. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day instructional support across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. The timetable will involve splitting focus between macro/micronutrient profiling, functional properties of ingredients, and food hygiene operations at GCSE, alongside advanced catering management tracks, hospitality finance forecasting, and supply chain logistics at Level 3. Beyond classroom teaching, responsibilities include maintaining precise student practical portfolio registers, managing internal verification files for vocational tracks, coordinating external moderation communication, and mentoring student networks entering national culinary or hospitality challenges. You will maintain absolute data accuracy when handling student examination tracking sheets, health-and-safety checklists, and verification folders. Strong administrative and organizational capabilities are crucial to balancing separate kitchen safety metrics across complex exam bodies while driving high academic and practical engagement.
