Job description
We are looking for a talented Full-Stack Developer to join our growing engineering team at NexTera Technologies. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable web applications that power our SaaS platform, serving over 50,000 users worldwide. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers in an agile environment to deliver features that delight our customers and drive business growth.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and deploy full-stack features across our React/TypeScript frontend and Node.js/Python backend servicesArchitect and optimize RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints to support high-traffic, real-time applicationsCollaborate with product and design teams to translate requirements into technical specifications and deliver iterativelyWrite clean, well-tested, and thoroughly documented code; maintain at least 80% unit test coverage on new modulesManage and optimize PostgreSQL and Redis data layers, including schema design, query tuning, and caching strategiesParticipate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and mentorship of junior developersMonitor application performance using Datadog and PagerDuty; triage and resolve production incidents as part of the on-call rotationContribute to CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), and containerized deployments on AWS (ECS, Lambda)Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience5+ years of professional experience building and shipping web applications in a production environmentStrong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one backend language (Python, Go, or Java)Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, or Vue) and state management patternsSolid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL stores (Redis, DynamoDB)Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes or ECS)
