Specific positions, project details, and start dates will be determined as opportunities become available.About the Potential OpportunityFuture opportunities may involve supporting EHR implementations and deployments within healthcare environments in the Washington, DC area. Professionals in this talent pool may work directly with hospital leadership, physicians, nurses, clinical staff, technical teams, and other stakeholders to help organizations successfully implement and adopt healthcare technology.We are particularly interested in professionals with experience working with Oracle Health (Cerner), Epic, or other major EHR platforms and those who understand the connection between technology, clinical workflows, and patient care.Potential Areas of SupportDepending on the specific engagement, responsibilities may include:• Supporting EHR implementation and deployment activities from planning through go live and stabilization• Evaluating clinical workflows and identifying opportunities for improvement• Working directly with physicians, nurses, hospital administrators, and other healthcare professionals• Translating clinical requirements and workflows into practical technology solutions• Providing functional and clinical guidance during system configuration, testing, training, and deployment• Supporting workflow documentation, testing scenarios, issue resolution, and implementation activities• Helping identify gaps between current processes and future state workflows• Providing onsite support during critical implementation and deployment activities• Partnering with technical, project management, organizational change, and clinical teams• Supporting end user adoption and healthcare organizations through technology transitions• Participating in stakeholder meetings, working sessions, demonstrations, and presentations• Providing subject matter expertise throughout implementation, optimization, and post go live activitiesExperience We Are Interested InWe would like to connect with professionals who have experience in areas such as:• Clinical Informatics• Nursing Informatics• Healthcare IT• EHR Implementation• Clinical Systems• Clinical Workflow Analysis• Healthcare Technology Consulting• EHR Optimization• Clinical Application Support• Healthcare Systems ImplementationQualifications• 4+ years of relevant experience in clinical informatics, healthcare IT, clinical operations, EHR implementation, or a related field• Experience with Oracle Health (Cerner) strongly preferred• Epic experience or experience with another major EHR platform is a plus• Experience supporting EHR implementations, deployments, upgrades, optimization, or modernization initiatives• Experience working directly with clinical and healthcare stakeholders• Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare operations• Ability to communicate effectively with both clinical and technical audiences• Strong problem solving, organization, and stakeholder management skills• Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare, clinical, technical, STEM, or related discipline preferred• Master’s degree in Clinical Informatics, Health Informatics, Nursing Informatics, or a related field is a plus• Experience supporting federal healthcare initiatives preferred• Existing security clearance or experience working in environments requiring a government clearance is preferredLocationWashington, DCPotential opportunities are expected to be onsite.
