We are currently recruiting for a General Assistant to join our team at Selfridges, Manchester . As a General Assistant, you will play a key role in creating a positive experience for our customers and supporting the day-to-day operation of the business. Key responsibilities: Providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming environment for guests. Serving food and beverages in a professional and friendly manner. Assisting with food preparation and presentation as required. Supporting cash handling and operating tills accurately. Ensuring service areas, counters, and dining spaces are clean, safe, and well maintained. Following all food safety, health and safety, and company procedures. Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high standards of service. Supporting with stock replenishment and general housekeeping duties. Qualifications What We're Looking For A positive attitude and a passion for delivering excellent customer service. Previous hospitality, catering, retail, or customer service experience is desirable. Retail experience preferred. Basic IT skills required. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards. A flexible and reliable approach to work. A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
