Location: Plymouth - 46247 Employment Status: Hourly Full-Time Function: Administration Pay Range: $16.00 - $20.00 Target Bonus: 5% Req ID: 30365 ​ ​ General Job Description The General Labor Technician is responsible for the upkeep of the business, office, shop, and facility. Duties include cleaning up the facility both manufacturing and office space. Summary of Essential Job Functions & Duties Responsible for general cleaning of all facilities. This includes: Sweeping the floor. Breaking down boxes. Taking out the trash and recycling. Weighing it first. Wiping down walls. Mopping up floors. Running the floor machine and cleaning the floor machine. Straightening up tables and material. Organizing tools. 5S principles. Cleaning windows. Cleaning up after meetings. Supervise installations HVAC and other contract services. Help with conducting daily inspections on all forklifts and cranes. Take scrap metal to scrap yard as needed. Stock café and conference rooms. Set up and teardown chairs and tables for meetings. Setup up offices which include moving tables, desks, chairs, mounting whiteboards, and TVs. Picking up supplies and parts. Travel as required. Any other assignments as deemed appropriate. Summary of Objectives Safety – support creating a safe work environment with user safety as a primary focus. Delivery – support executing projects successfully within the provided budget and project timeline. Standards – support driving the team to standardize on best practices. Budget – support team’s ability to complete tasks within the quoted or assigned labor and material budgets. Rework – work to track and reduce overall rework costs. Training – support the development of team capabilities through participation in training and training other employees. Requirements Education: Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent education. No experience required. Valid Driver's License required. Experience Must Include Physically capable of lifting 25 pounds. Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices. Excellent manual dexterity and problem-solving skills. Must be able to communicate clearly, articulately, and professionally Ability to prioritize work and manage time completing multiple projects and tasks. Must have appropriate schedule flexibility, sense of urgency, motivation, and versatility to make a substantial contribution to the organization’s success. Ability to interact positively and constructively while representing company in a professional manner. Willingness to work “above and beyond” in order to meet company goals. Well organized, detail oriented and self-motivated. Must have excellent written communication skills. Ability to travel to other company sites as well as customer sites as required.
