The tasks that service provider will be expected to perform include any or all of the following. ● Provide expertise in GIS strategies, technical solution design, and integration of geospatial capabilities within enterprise applications ● Conduct GIS requirements analysis and translate business needs into custom GIS applications, components, widgets, and workflows ● Develop, test, maintain and improve web GIS applications and ArcGIS-based solutions for visualization, editing, analysis, planning, and operational use ● Design and implement GIS processes, automation scripts, ETL/data migration workflows, and spatial data validation mechanisms using Python and related tools ● Create, maintain, structure, transform and publish GIS datasets in ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online environments ● Develop and maintain custom GIS web components using ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript and modern web technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript and React ● Develop ArcGIS Pro add-ins and ArcGIS Enterprise extensions using C#/.NET where business needs require platform customization ● Implement and maintain integrations with REST APIs, enterprise databases, third-party systems, and OGC-compliant services such as WMS, WMTS, WFS and WCS ● Support spatial data interoperability, data exchange, API consumption, and integration with external platforms and client environments ● Perform spatial data analysis, geoprocessing, data preparation, data transformation, and quality control for cadastral, infrastructure, emergency, indoor, and other thematic datasets ● Support deployment, environment configuration, migration between environments, troubleshooting, and maintenance of GIS applications and services ● Produce technical documentation, operational guidance, and knowledge transfer materials related to GIS applications and workflows ● Deliver technical training and provide support to users, technical teams, and stakeholders on GIS development and geospatial solutions ● Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, infrastructure teams, and external partners to ensure that GIS solutions are reliable, scalable, secure, and fit for purpose SPECIFIC EXPERTISE AND TECHNOLOGIES • GIS platforms and geospatial technologies: o ArcGIS Pro o ArcGIS Enterprise o ArcGIS Online o ArcGIS Experience Builder / Web AppBuilder / ArcGIS Dashboards / ArcGIS Map Viewer o ArcGIS Pro SDK o ArcGIS Python API o ArcPy • GIS development and web mapping o ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript o Web GIS application development o Custom widget and component development o GIS application modernisation and migration o Interactive mapping and web cartography o Custom GIS viewers and editing tools • Geospatial standards and interoperability o OGC services: WMS, WMTS, WFS, WCS o REST API design/consumption and integration o GeoJSON and Shapefile o Integration of GIS platforms with enterprise systems and external APIs • Programming and software engineering o JavaScript o TypeScript o HTML5 and CSS o React o Angular o Python o C#/.NET o Java / Spring Boot o PHP • Data management and databases o ArcGIS Enterprise Geodatabase o PostgreSQL / PostGIS o Oracle o SQL Server o SQLite o Enterprise Geodatabase / File Geodatabase o Spatial and non-spatial data modelling o ETL, data migration, transformation, validation and publication workflows • DevOps, deployment and collaboration o Git / GitHub / GitLab / Azure DevOps / Atlassian o CI/CD support o Docker o Jira / GitHub Projects / Trello o Troubleshooting, deployment support, maintenance, and environment migration CERTIFICATES AND/OR STANDARDS A certification such as the Esri Technical Certification (e.g., ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS developer, ArcGIS API for Python, or ArcGIS API for JavaScript) – at least 1 certificate SKILLS ● GIS infrastructure support ● Secure access and authentication mechanisms for GIS applications ● Technical training delivery ● Technical documentation and knowledge transfer ● Client-facing consultancy and support in multilingual environments ● Agile/SCRUM methodology
