As Global Mobility & International Employment Manager (f/m/d) , you enable international collaboration across the AVL Group by developing compliant and business-oriented employment solutions. You advise on complex cross-border employment matters and help minimize tax, social security, immigration, employment law, and governance risks. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: Advise on international assignments, permanent transfers, business travel, remote work, and multi-country employment arrangements Assess tax, social security, immigration, and permanent establishment risks in cross-border employment scenarios and develop compliant, business-oriented solutions Design and evaluate international employment models, including source taxation, A1 certificates, shadow payroll, split payroll, and multi-country employment structures Support executives, managing directors, and senior leaders in complex international mobility and employment matters Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external advisors across HR, Payroll, Legal, Tax, and Finance Manage and coordinate tax, social security, payroll, immigration, and employment law aspects of cross-border employment Ensure compliance with global regulations and corporate policies, support audits and reviews, and monitor legislative developments Further develop processes, standards, and governance frameworks within Global Mobility and International Employment YOUR PROFILE: Completed education (University or University of Applied Sciences, or comparable) with a focus on Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, Business Law, or a related field At least 5 years of experience in Global Mobility, International Employment, International HR, or International Tax Strong expertise in international assignments, transfers, and payroll tax, combined with a good understanding of cross-border employment models and compliance risks Ability to analyze complex international employment scenarios, identify risks, and develop practical, compliant, and business-oriented solutions Experience advising executives and senior management in international environments is highly desirable Strong analytical skills combined with a pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset Confident communication style and ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders Business-fluent German and English WE OFFER: Various working time models, flextime and the possibility of working from home Contributing to a safer and more sustainable future of mobility A long-term and future-oriented workplace Food trucks, snack bar and canteen with freshly cooked daily menus Health talks, seminars and e.g. check-ups as part of our broad health program Company sports club with more than 30 sections and regular sports events/trips Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €67,200.00. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry).
