Job description
About our group: Global Revenue Operations enables our Sales teams by improving the processes, systems, data, and capabilities used to manage the business and support revenue growth. As the organization expands its use of AI agents and automated workflows, the Enablement team is helping functional teams prototype practical solutions and improve how agent activity, adoption, workflow performance, and business impact are understood. Working Environment Work with a global, cross-functional team across different functions and locations, with a designated supervisor and guidance from functional and technical partners. Participate in a six-month internship with a supervised, project-based scope; the approximate time allocation is 60% agent and workflow prototyping, 30% telemetry analytics, and 10% documentation. Use only approved tools, data, and environments. Prototypes and analytics will be reviewed by designated owners before use beyond the assigned team. Working hours and internship arrangements will follow applicable company and local requirements. About the role - you will: As a six-month intern within the Global Revenue Operations Enablement team, you will support supervised prototyping of AI agents and automated workflows for prioritized business needs. The role is build-first: approximately 60% of your time will support agent and workflow prototypes, 30% will support telemetry analytics with Revenue Enablement (Operation lead), and 10% will support documentation and handover. These are planning estimates and may shift with team priorities. You will work with functional taskforce members to clarify a bounded workflow, configure or build a prototype using approved tools, and test it with human review. IT will provide available technical telemetry; you will help prepare, validate, analyze, and report that data using agreed definitions. You are not expected to independently own enterprise architecture, complex integrations, production deployment, or business impact methodology. The internship is designed for a learner with vibe coding ability and exposure to AI-assisted development or workflow automation. Work will be scoped and reviewed by a supervisor, with access, data use, security, and deployment decisions retained by the appropriate business and technical owners. You Will: Work with functional team members to understand a prioritized workflow, clarify the user need, and capture the agreed scope and success criteria for a small prototype. Build or configure AI agent and workflow prototypes using approved tools, knowledge sources, prompts, steps, and human review points under guidance. Use an AI-assisted development environment to explore, generate, review, and refine code or configuration, applying foundational programming knowledge and asking for review when needed. Support workflow orchestration by connecting approved steps, data sources, or tools within the available environment; escalate integration needs that require additional access or engineering support. Test prototypes with representative examples, check output quality and failure cases, record issues, and make supervised improvements. Troubleshoot basic workflow or prototype issues using logs, test results, and documented guidance, and escalate unresolved or higher-risk issues. Partner with Revenue Enablement – Operational Lead to prepare and validate AI telemetry data supplied by IT, following agreed definitions and handling procedures. Support recurring analysis and visual reporting on available usage, adoption, workflow activity, and defined performance measures; clearly identify data gaps and limitations. Assist with dashboard or tracker updates, quality checks, and basic investigation of data discrepancies, escalating questions that require IT or metric-owner decisions. Help the team identify observable patterns or exceptions in prototype and telemetry results without making unsupported claims about business impact. Document prototype purpose, workflow logic, test cases, results, known limitations, data sources, metric definitions, and handover steps. Collaborate with Enablement, functional taskforce members, Revenue Operations, Business Intelligence, and IT stakeholders as assigned. About you: We are looking for a curious, practical, and organized individual who is interested in building AI-enabled workflows and using data to improve Revenue Enablement. You have foundational coding knowledge and are willing to use AI-assisted development tools thoughtfully. You can break a workflow into steps, test what you build, work carefully with data, and explain your work to technical and non-technical teammates. You are comfortable learning with supervision, following approved processes, documenting decisions and limitations, and managing a small set of assigned tasks in a global, cross-functional environment. Your experience includes: Required: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Business, or a related field. Foundational coding ability demonstrated through coursework, a personal project, or equivalent experience; able to read and make simple changes to code or configuration in a language such as Python or JavaScript. Practical exposure to at least one AI-assisted development tool or workflow automation platform through a class, project, internship, or personal build; expertise across multiple platforms is not required. Basic understanding of AI agents or automated workflows, including how prompts, instructions, data, and process steps affect outputs. Experience working with datasets or spreadsheets, including organizing, cleaning, checking, summarizing, and presenting information. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data preparation, validation, analysis, and reporting. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to spot and clearly communicate inconsistencies or limitations. Ability to follow documented processes, use feedback, and seek review when a task involves uncertainty, data access, or risk. Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with good organization and time management. Interest in AI agents, workflow automation, telemetry analytics, and Revenue Operations. Preferred: Exposure to one or more of Claude Code, Codex, Google Antigravity, Visual Studio Code, Copilot Studio, n8n, or Power Automate; experience with every platform is not expected. Familiarity with Power BI or a comparable business intelligence and visualization platform. Exposure to Power Query, SQL, Python, JavaScript, or another tool for data preparation, analysis, or automation. A class, internship, or personal project that involved prototyping an AI agent, automating a workflow, or testing an AI-enabled solution. Basic understanding of business processes, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or AI enablement; experience with documentation or stakeholder communication is also useful. Location: The Shugart site (named after Seagate’s founder, Al Shugart) is a research and design center. Easily accessible from the One-North MRT Station, many employees choose to take mass transportation to work. Being a purpose-built building, The Shugart has excellent employee recreational facilities. Take an active break at our badminton courts, table tennis tables, in-house gym, and recreation rooms.
