Role Overview
We’re looking for a Growth & Marketing Associate to help drive Renda’s early traction, visibility, and momentum. This is a hands-on role focused on getting attention and turning it into growth.
You’ll operate across content, distribution, and community, making sure Renda is seen, talked about, and growing. This is not a passive content role. We’re looking for someone who understands how to create momentum around a product.
Over time, this role is designed to evolve into a Head of Marketing position as we scale.
What You will do
Own and execute Renda’s early growth efforts across social platforms (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, etc.)
Create and publish content that drives attention, curiosity, and engagement
Actively distribute content beyond our channels (Reddit, communities, comment sections, partnerships, etc.)
Identify and leverage trends, conversations, and viral moments to increase visibility
Help grow and manage our waitlist and early user community
Engage directly with users — replies, comments, DMs, and discussions
Experiment constantly: test ideas, formats, messaging, and double down on what works
Support launch momentum — building hype leading into go-to-market
Collaborate with design and product to align messaging with what we’re building
What We are looking for
Strong bias for action - you don’t wait, you test and learn quickly
Experience growing an audience, community, or product (personal or professional)
Excellent writing and communication skills
Deep understanding of internet culture, platforms, and distribution (especially X, LinkedIn, Reddit)
Creative thinker with strong instincts for what gets attention
Comfortable being scrappy — this is early-stage, not structured
Interest in startups, fintech, or AI
Bonus
Experience growing a waitlist or early-stage product
Experience with viral content or community-led growth
Familiarity with analytics and growth tools
Experience attending or promoting through events, communities, or partnerships
