Job description

ABOUT THE ROLE We're hiring a GTM Engineer to build the machine behind our growth: the data pipeline, the outbound engine, and the source of truth the whole company runs on. This is a build-and-own role, not a support role. We're an early-stage, fast-moving company building core infrastructure for the AI agent era — specifically the communication and identity layer that lets AI agents send, receive, and manage email programmatically. Backed by Y Combinator and a top-tier seed round led by General Catalyst, we're inventing a market, not following one. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Own the growth data layer end to end: instrument the funnel, enrich every signup, and build the dashboards the company treats as its source of truth - Turn our best customers into ten more — through lookalike modeling, automated outbound, LinkedIn plays, and surfacing champions and buyers inside companies already using us - Run experiments across the PLG engine (content, integrations, backlinks, paid) and double down on what moves signups - Connect the stack through APIs, webhooks, and automation so data flows cleanly between product analytics, CRM, enrichment providers, and outbound tooling (e.g. PostHog and similar) - Decide what tools we use and what gets cut — you own the stack - Build AI-powered internal tools; ship systems from prototype through rollout and adoption, then hold your ground — you built it, the team follows it WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Required: - A technical foundation — CS, data science, or equivalent. You write real scripts in Python, TypeScript, and/or SQL, wire APIs together, and are comfortable using AI coding tools effectively - You've seen a great growth motion up close, or you've been obsessively reverse-engineering how the best PLG companies grow - High agency in ambiguity: you call out what's broken, come with an opinion, and fix things without being asked - Organized enough that the systems you build don't rot — clean data is a discipline, not a feature Nice to Have: - A genuine desire to help invent a market, not just run someone else's process - Experience at or adjacent to developer-tools, API-first, or AI infrastructure companies COMPENSATION & BENEFITS - Salary: $120,000 – $200,000 USD annually, depending on experience - Early-stage equity in a high-conviction, fast-growing startup - Visa sponsorship: Not available LOCATION This role is on-site in San Francisco, CA. We work together in person — no remote option for this position.
