Job description
Not all heroes wear capes — but plenty of them use toilet paper Want to challenge yourself at a purpose-led scale up AND make a difference in the world? Come join the revolootion! Funny name, serious business We are a leading eco-friendly household essentials business and we donate 50% of our profits to help everyone gain access to clean water and a toilet. As of June 2026, we’ve contributed over $20 million AUD to this mission. Basically, we’re really good at making it easy to do good. We operate scaling businesses in the UK, US, Australia and Canada, with our amazing team based in Australia, the UK, the Philippines, China, and the US. Our 250+ people aim to make the biggest possible impact for people and the planet. Over the next 5-10 years, we’re hoping to increase our annual donation tenfold to get us closer to our dream of everyone in the world having access to clean water and sanitation services. A bit about the role Delivering a bulky box of toilet paper from our warehouse to a customer’s doorstep is a complex operational challenge, and one of our biggest levers for environmental impact. The way we architect our global logistics network will define our sustainability footprint, customer experience, and commercial strength - which means donations - in a major way. That is why this role exists. As our new Head of Global Logistics, you will take end-to-end ownership of warehousing and last-mile delivery across Australia, the US, the UK and Europe, while guiding expansion into scaling markets like Canada. Reporting to our Chief Supply Chain Officer and partnering closely with our GM of Supply Chain Operations, you will lead established regional Logistics Managers, their teams and partners across UK, Ireland, Europe, USA, Canada and Australia. Your mission: elevate their strong existing local foundations into a unified global strategy, sharpening commercial rigor and setting a clear trajectory for the function that meets the needs of our hugely ambitious next phase of global growth. If you worked here this past month, here are some things you might have been involved in: Supported the expansion of our UK 3PL model, including contracting and integrating our new partner, with no gap in service for customers Shaped the logistics design for a major retail growth push in the USA, and help build the commercial models for an upcoming US retail range review Partnered with Finance on our reporting architecture, and explored how AI can give us deeper insight into cost drivers Supported your in-market team through a major carrier RFP and negotiation, then took the Exec team through the final decision criteria, showing how the decision ladders to our 5-year strategy and what our volume growth and partnership mean for us and the partner. Coached your team through a rate review negotiation with an existing 3PL Coached regional leads as they build business cases, such as expanding a dedicated, branded electric vehicle fleet for last-mile delivery Brought the logistics cost perspective into product design conversations with our commercial team, such as the cost impact of pack size, before the design is locked Identified AI optimisation opportunities across your team and across our global tech stack Let’s talk about you You think in cost per order, not cost per truck. You understand the economics of last mile delivery and warehousing at a level that goes deep into the cost drivers and market economics. You can decompose cost per order into its levers, model what a network design choice does to it, build a capital business case, and walk into a carrier negotiation with a genuine point of view on the other side’s cost structure. You’ve made structural calls before; aggregator versus direct, make versus buy, whether an automation investment stacks up, and you’ve lived with the consequences. You can hold a five-year view and a next-quarter view at the same time, and you drive a metrics and insight led culture across your teams and partnerships. You lead leaders, and you play well with peers. Leading three established regional Logistics Managers across distinct global markets, your mission is to empower local ownership while providing a unified global vision, commercial rigor, and clear operational standards. You excel at coaching high-performing talent, keeping senior team members challenged, engaged, and motivated. Partnering closely alongside a GM-level peer, you bring a proactive, relationship-first approach to align shared outcomes, establish clear boundaries, and build strong cross-functional partnerships You build with AI, you don’t just use it. You lead and inspire your team to design workflows and processes that make them faster and more capable, building a culture of learning, testing and documenting AI-enabled ways of working. The outcomes you seek are those that make your team or partners faster and more capable. You also think through the architecture needed to unlock our next level of AI and technology. You know where human judgement has to stay in the loop and are able to lead our team through the transformations that lie ahead with empathy and care. You give a crap. Do you want your work to make the world a better place? Do you want to work with other people who feel the same way? What a coincidence — us too! Why should you work with us? First off, as a certified B Corp™, we work to make a difference every day while maintaining the high standards of social and environmental impact. We’re in very good company with other exceptional B Corps around the world. We also believe that helping to make the world a better place should be rewarded accordingly. That’s why we offer competitive, market informed salaries, meaningful support towards healthcare for our team around the world, generous paid leave, tailored learning and development opportunities, and free toilet paper (yes, you read that right). Our engagement surveys (thanks Culture Amp!) tell us that our team is really proud (over 90%) to work for Who Gives A Crap and, well, we couldn’t be more proud of that. Have you made it this far? If you’re still reading, we think there’s a strong chance you might be our kind of person. Here’s the thing, though — research suggests that 60% of women and underrepresented folks might have already talked themselves out of applying. Even if you don’t check every box above, we want to encourage you to introduce yourself. We believe a diversity of perspectives and experiences makes a team stronger — and the stronger our team, the closer we are to delivering toilets and clean water for all.
