Job description
About the Role: We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and commercially minded Head of HR Supporting Functions to join our Ferrero UK & Ireland People & Organisation team. In this senior and influential role, you'll be at the heart of our business, working closely with leaders across a range of key supporting functions. You'll become a trusted strategic partner, helping to shape people priorities, influence business decisions and ensure our teams have the support and capabilities needed to succeed. As our business continues to evolve, you'll play an important role in supporting organisational development, navigating change and aligning our people strategy with wider business ambitions. You'll have the opportunity to make a real impact, connecting our people strategy with business ambitions and working collaboratively with local, regional and Group teams. From supporting organisational development and talent priorities to guiding leaders through change, you'll play an important role in creating an environment where our people and business can thrive. Main Responsibilities: As Head of HR Supporting Functions, you'll build strong relationships with senior leaders, gaining a deep understanding of their business priorities and challenges. You'll use this insight to shape people plans, provide strategic guidance and influence decisions that support both immediate business needs and longer-term objectives. You'll play an active role in reviewing organisational structures, identifying opportunities to strengthen team effectiveness and supporting leaders as their functions evolve. Whether navigating organisational change, planning future workforce requirements or developing talent, you'll help ensure our people priorities remain closely connected to the direction of the business. Working alongside our Talent Acquisition and specialist People & Organisation teams, you'll be involved in recruitment, internal mobility and development initiatives, helping leaders attract, retain and develop the capabilities needed for the future. You'll also be a trusted source of advice on employee relations, supporting managers through complex and sensitive matters, including performance, absence, grievances, disciplinary processes and organisational consultations. Your approach will help ensure decisions are fair, consistent and aligned with our values and policies. Alongside this, you'll contribute to reward and compensation discussions, bringing together business understanding, people insights and analytical thinking to support informed and balanced decisions. As part of a global organisation, you'll work closely with colleagues across our local, regional and Group teams, bringing people initiatives to life and ensuring they are implemented effectively within our UK & Ireland business. About You: You'll be an experienced HR professional who enjoys working closely with business leaders, understanding their challenges and helping them achieve their goals through effective people strategies. You'll bring a strong background in strategic HR business partnering, with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders, challenge constructively and provide practical, commercially focused advice. You'll be comfortable moving between strategic conversations and more complex people matters, always keeping the wider business objectives in mind. Your experience will give you a broad understanding of organisational development, talent management, employee relations, workforce planning and reward and compensation. You'll know how to bring these areas together to support leaders and deliver meaningful outcomes. You'll enjoy working with people data and insights, using information to identify opportunities, inform decisions and help shape future priorities. With strong communication and relationship-building skills, you'll be able to engage confidently with stakeholders across different functions and levels of the organisation. You'll thrive in a collaborative, international environment where priorities can evolve and where building strong partnerships is essential. Experience working within a global or matrix organisation will help you navigate this environment, while knowledge of UK employment legislation and organisational change would be advantageous. Most importantly, you'll bring curiosity, sound judgement and a proactive approach, with a genuine passion for supporting people, developing organisational capability and making a positive contribution to the business.
