Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Head of Marketing & Operations to lead PalmPay Bangladesh’s end-to-end marketing strategy, brand positioning, and marketing operations execution. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving customer acquisition, engagement, and brand growth while ensuring strong alignment between business goals and marketing execution.
The role will also oversee marketing operations, including planning, budgeting, performance tracking, and cross-functional coordination, while leading and developing the in-house marketing team.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Planning
Develop and execute the overall marketing and branding strategy aligned with PalmPay Bangladesh’s business objectives
Translate company goals into clear marketing plans, campaigns, and execution roadmaps
Define marketing KPIs, budgets, and timelines, ensuring efficient use of resources
Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer insights to guide strategic decisions
Campaign Management & Performance Optimization
Plan, execute, and optimize integrated marketing campaigns across digital, offline, ATL/BTL, performance marketing, and partnership channels
Ensure consistent and effective messaging across all customer touchpoints
Track campaign performance, analyze results, and drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights
Support product launches, promotions, and growth initiatives in collaboration with Product, Sales, and Operations teams
Brand Management
Own and strengthen the company’s brand identity, tone of voice, and visual guidelines
Ensure brand consistency across all marketing assets, platforms, and communications
Lead brand-building initiatives to enhance market presence, trust, and customer loyalty
Marketing Operations & Stakeholder Management
Establish and improve marketing operations processes, including planning, reporting, and performance monitoring
Manage external agencies, vendors, and marketing partners when required
Act as the key marketing point of contact for senior management
Present marketing strategies, performance reports, and insights to leadership
Team Leadership & Development
Lead, mentor, and manage the in-house marketing team
Set clear goals, roles, and performance expectations for team members
Build a collaborative, high-performance marketing culture
Identify skill gaps and support team development through coaching and feedback
Required Qualifications & Experience
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
Master’s degree is preferred
Experience
10+ years of progressive experience in marketing roles
3+ years in a leadership or managerial position with end-to-end ownership
Proven experience managing marketing strategy, execution, branding, and performance analytics
Experience in fast-growing companies, such as fintech, MFI, MFS, or technology-driven environments, is strongly preferred
Hands-on experience managing teams and cross-functional stakeholders
Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of digital marketing, branding, campaign management, and analytics
Strategic thinking with strong execution capability
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into action
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
