The Head of Solution – Software leads product and commercialization initiatives for the Asia Pacific & Japan region. This role provides strategic guidance on pricing and positioning, drives product marketing, and serves as the product expert supporting regional clusters. Responsibilities span the entire product lifecycle—from launch to ongoing market competitiveness—by identifying opportunities for tailored commercial offerings and packages. The position also guides localization efforts to ensure regional relevance and adoption, and acts as the market data champion, maintaining actionable insights to inform strategic decisions. Additionally, this role serves as a bridge to the global LSS team, facilitating two-way communication regarding product and commercialization information, customer insights, and regional needs. Responsibility Commercialization Leadership Lead commercialization activities throughout the product lifecycle: pre-launch, launch, and post-launch, ensuring cross-functional alignment and effective project management. Pre-launch: Establish launch teams, develop project plans, assign roles and responsibilities, and finalize product marketing, positioning, naming, and sales tools. Launch: Execute launch events and related activities, including PR/media outreach and training. Post-launch: Monitor performance against business objectives, refine messaging and tools, and conduct follow-up reviews at 3, 6, 12, and 18 months. Governance of software price performance in APJ to contribute to regional P&L targets and growth ambitions. Strategic Marketing & Positioning Develop and maintain a strategic marketing plan for the software portfolio, including market assessment, objectives, and activity plans in collaboration with the global LSS team and cluster product specialists. Manage the software budget in alignment with cluster product specialists and commercialization strategy. Provide strategic guidance on pricing, positioning, bundling, and competitive differentiation tailored to regional and cluster needs. Define value propositions and messaging based on customer needs and market dynamics; drive proof point generation with global teams and customer advocates. Translate positioning and value propositions into communication concepts for sales enablement tools (e.g., case studies, campaigns, events). Market Intelligence & Localization Act as the market data champion, maintaining accurate insights to guide strategic decisions. Guide localization efforts across clusters to ensure regional relevance and adoption. Support market data collection, including customer needs, competitor analysis, pricing, market share, and trends. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Enablement Ensure alignment with the global LSS team for product development and strategy. Serve as the primary escalation point to global teams for product-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and communication. Interface with clusters, handle complaints, and communicate product improvement requests to global teams. Guide and support clusters in localization efforts, including co-developing marketing programs and campaigns tailored to local needs. Educate cluster sales, product specialists, and distributors on positioning, messaging, value propositions, objection handling, and solution expertise to strengthen adoption. Serve as the product and solution expert in the region, supporting sales engagements and influencing adoption with strategic stakeholders (e.g., KOLs, C-suite). · AUTHORITIES The role has 3 key categories of tasks to manage: Governance of price performance in APJ as a technical and pricing approver Funnel development in APJ in line with clusters Bridge to the global LSS team, facilitating two-way communication regarding product and commercialization information, customer insights, and regional needs. Relevant Knowledge, skills and competencies Bachelor/University Degree/MBA or similar preferred. Profound knowledge of and previous use of Oncology Informatics and Treatment Planning solution are highly desired Knowledge of Systemic therapy processes and practices would be very beneficial Proven commercial and marketing experience in Oncology is preferred Relevant clinical experience in Oncology or a related field is preferred Displayed effective communication skills and requires great influencing skills Skilled speaker and representative in social contacts. A clear team player; strong track record in working in complex, multi-functional, multi-cultural and international environments Self-starting, Entrepreneurial, dynamic, creative and energetic Fluent in English in both written and verbal, other Asian language skills are beneficial As required to meet job objectives; willing to travel up to 50% of time
