Earn up to £18.65 per hour £5 daily meal allowance Permanent employment Day and Night shifts available Buddy support programme New Pass Drivers welcome Modern fleet, including double deck trailers Life Assurance from Day 1 Retail, gym and Stobart Truck Stop discounts Career development opportunities across the Culina Group The Role Delivering to stores and RDCs Mixture of Express Stores and Superstores Operating single and double deck trailers Store deliveries and distribution work Vehicle safety checks and delivery paperwork Working in line with Driver Hours and Transport Legislation Maintaining excellent standards of safety and customer service Shift Start Times Days Starts between 06:00 and 09:00 Nights Starts between 15:00 and 22:00 Average shift length: 10-12 hours Pay Rates Monday to Friday Days: £15.15 per hour Monday to Friday Nights: £16.35 per hour Saturday & Sunday Days: £18.15 per hour Saturday & Sunday Nights: £18.65 per hour You should hold a valid C+E Licence and ideally have a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience (We will consider New Pass Drivers) No more than 6 points and no DD/ DR Code convictions. Hold a current valid DCPC & Tacho cards. Understand and able to comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation. Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly. Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements.
