Hostess

The Hostess is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming first impression by greeting and seating guests, managing restaurant reservations, and ensuring an organized flow of service. The role requires excellent communication, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Welcome guests warmly and escort them to their assigned tables Manage restaurant reservations, cancellations, table assignments, and special requests Maintain accurate knowledge of restaurant layouts, operating hours, menus, promotions, and hotel services Answer telephone enquiries professionally and according to service standards Monitor guest flow and organize waiting lists during busy periods Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly to enquiries, and assist with resolving concerns Conduct table visits and coordinate with the team to ensure guest satisfaction Maintain a clean, organized, and well-presented hostess desk and dining area Support menu preparation, cashiering procedures, and restaurant operations when required Work closely with colleagues to deliver friendly, efficient, and professional service Minimum of 1 year’s experience as a Hostess or in a similar food and beverage role Good verbal communication skills in English, additional languages (Arabic, Russian) are an advantage. Strong guest service and interpersonal skills Pleasant, professional, and well-groomed appearance Basic knowledge of food and beverage service Basic computer skills Flexible to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required by operational needs.
